Reading care labels is such an important thing we can do to make our garments last longer! R-Coat care label was carefully created to assure that the appearance and fit of your R-Coat product will be maintained after repeated cleaning treatments.
Follow our guidelines and learn the meaning of each symbol!
WASH COLD
We recommend washing your R-Coat with cold water (30°C or 86°F). To preserve our oceans, use biodegradable detergents and the Guppyfriend washing bag to catch microplastics.
IRON COOL
We recommend ironing your R-Coat inside out and with a low setting (110°C or 230°F). For extra protection of the delicate umbrella fabric, use a cloth between the fabric and the iron.
LINE DRY
We recommend drying your R-Coat by hanging it on a clothesline or hanger and letting the natural air circulation dry the wet fabric. Line drying should avoid the need of ironing.
DON’T BLEACH
We don’t recommend the use of bleach – chlorine nor non-chlorine – to remove stains from your R-Coat. The umbrella fabric is easily cleaned with soap.
DON’T TUMBLE DRY
We don’t recommend putting your R-Coat in the dryer as it may cause damage to the fabric and appearance of the item. Check out the “line dry” section.
DON’T DRY CLEAN
We don’t recommend dry cleaning your R-Coat, which would imply the use of chemical solvents rather than water.
